Our clients’ needs are different, each case will present a different challenge and it’s up to you to find out where they are now and where they want to be. You should be comfortable (even passionate and excited!) about asking in-depth questions and presenting accurate and appropriate solutions.
Customers rightly expect excellent customer service. They want the same level of attention and care, they want it in a timely fashion and they want you to be friendly and appreciative. Things can get very busy here and there is always other work to be done. Expect a fast pace for hours on end.
We expect team members to take a friendly attitude towards customers – to smile as they greet them, to make conversation with all kinds of people, to serve their needs, to take time and care for their goals and objectives. If you feel shy or awkward about talking with strangers or if you are not willing to serve people, you might not like it here.
Some days you will have back to back appointments and some days you may not. You have to be able manage your time effectively and carry out different tasks depending on whether you are in or out of the office.
The Leap Finance team works closely with each other like a family, sometimes under stress or with other things on your mind. And no matter what’s going on in your week, your team members will be counting on you to give 100%. We all depend on each other and support each other. You need to be respectful and patient, and you also need to pull your own weight when it comes to customers and other work that has to get done.
We deliver a bespoke door to door financial advice services for our customers. Consequently, you will be expected to travel to your client within a reasonable distance of your home postcode. Some appointments can be up to 1.5 hour away. If you don’t enjoy travelling then this is not the job for you.
In this business, evenings are a key time for appointments. Therefore it is assumed you will work every evening Monday to Friday, unless we cannot provide an appointment for you. On average you may need to work a Saturday once a month. This may be because your client might not be able to facilitate a weekday evening appointment and at Leap Finance we care a great deal about meeting our client’s needs. Thus we would recommend you take initiative to accommodate your client.
